Annual Giving

At its dedication ceremony in 1936, the Overton Park Shell was called “a pledge to the future of music in Memphis.” Back then, no one could have known how vital the venue would become to the Mid-South community and national music history.

By making a gift today, you are continuing that pledge.

The Shell has always relied on the support of the Memphis community, and today is no different. While the majority of programming is presented free to the public, it is not without cost to the organization. Each free concert costs nearly $15,000 to produce, which includes paying the artists, production crew, and much more. Support from the community is more vital than ever as The Shell continues to grow into the vibrant community space Memphians know and love.
